The bluefin fishing has been in a slow phase and biting fish have been hard to come by. Luckily, the bites we have been getting have been from quality fish that resulted in a bunch of personal bests on this trip. Its a good thing the guys on the Alan Tani/Bill Barella Charter had their gear dialed in because these fish put them to the test. Almost all of our fish on this trip came off of 80lb test sinker rigs. There is a large volume of fish around they are just not in the best of biting moods right now. We are hoping for change, we come out today on our Jason Cox 2 day charter. Wish us luck!
